After you login to the GmoneyTrans remittance app,
1) Touch ‘SEND’ button at the bottom screen if you haven’t registered any receivers yet or hidden them.
2) Touch ‘Send to New Receiver’ button at the bottom screen if you have any registered receivers. 3) Enter the receiver’s details for registering receiver.
You need to provide
1) Receiving country
2) Receiving method
3) Receiver’s First, Middle and Last name. (The name should be exactly same as in the receiver’s ID card)
4) Receiver’s address
5) Receiver’s contact number (Please, make sure that the number is easily accessible to the receiver)
6) Your relationship with the receiver
* The receiving method and procedure may be divergent by receiving country
Yes, you can register more than one receiver.
Yes, you can edit the receiver’s information in the ‘Edit Receiver’ page. You can access to the page by selecting ‘edit’ at the top right hidden list in ‘receiver’ page.
Yes, you will have to register for each method even though it is the same receiver. This is because the process and required information for bank deposit and cash pickup are different.
When you log in the GmoneyTrans remittance app, you will see ‘send to new receiver’ button. Enter the details after you click the button to register new receiver.
Depending upon the country, there are several types receiving methods : Please check the receiving method available in your country.
With bank account, the funds will be deposited into the receiver’s designated bank account while with cash-pickup receiver can collect money from our partner outlets in your country.
We have partnered with various financial companies in all the corridors we provide service to. Please, check the details of the partner outlets in your country to decide where you want to collect the money in case of using cash pickup.
The time for the transaction is depending upon the receiving method. You can collect money within 10 mins with cash pickup and with bank account, it might take up to 10 mins to 1 day depending upon on the receiving country.
There might be restriction depending upon the country and bank you want to use to receive money. However, in most corridors type of bank is not restricted. Hence, you can receive the funds in most bank account.
The amount required for the transaction will be withdrawn from your designated account/wallet automatically and deposited to our designated account. Hence, you do not have to worry about ATM transfer or deposit for payment.
On the menu, you will see ‘My Transactions’. When you click on it, you will be able to see the status of your transaction history.
Transaction status is divided as below
1) All = All the transaction (Processing, Payment Ready, Paid, Refund).
2) Processing = The transaction is being processed. (The time of process varies depending upon countries).
3) Payment Ready = Transacted money is ready for the receiver to receive.
4) Paid = The transaction has been complete and the receiver has received the amount.
5) Refund = The transaction amount has been refunded.
If you have saved Receiver’s information, you can select the registered Receiver and continue to transaction. If you have not saved your Receiver’s information or want to send to a new Receiver, please, follow the following steps
Step 1: Selecting new Receiver
Press on ‘Send to New Receiver’
Step 2: Enter New Receiver’s country and receiving method
1. Select the country
2. Select the receiving method
3. Press ‘Next’
Step 3: Select Receiving method
You can select receiving method as Bank Account (Receiver will get the funds through bank account)
You will be directed to the following page if you choose bank account receiving method
Step 1: Enter Receiver’s bank
1. Select Receiver’s bank name (Please make sure the account is in the Receiver’s name and the bank account is regularly used)
2. Press ‘Next’
Step 2: Enter Receiver’s information
1. Enter Receiver’s First name in English (The name should be same as in the Receiver’s Bank Passbook)
2. Enter Receiver’s Middle name in English (The name should be same as in the Receiver’s Bank Passbook)
3. Enter Receiver’s Last name in English(The name should be same as in the Receiver’s Bank Passbook)
4. Enter Receiver’s mobile number
5. Enter Receiver’s address
6. Select relationship with the Receiver
7. Enter Receiver’s bank account
8. Press ‘Done’
* This procedure may divergent on selected country
If you have saved Receiver’s information, you can select the registered Receiver and continue to transaction. If you have not saved your Receiver’s information or want to send to a new Receiver, please, follow the following steps
Step 1: Selecting new Receiver
1. Select ‘Send to New Receiver’
Step 2: Enter New Receiver’s country and receiving method
1. Select the country and currency
2. Select the receiving method
3. Press‘Next’
Step 3: Enter Receiver’s Information
1. Enter Receiver’s first name (The name should be same as in the Receiver’s ID)
2. Enter Receiver’s middle name (The name should be same as in the Receiver’s ID)
3. Enter Receiver’s last name(The name should be same as in the Receiver’s ID)
4. Enter Receiver’s phone number
5. Enter Receiver’s address
6. Select your relationship with the Receiver
7. Press ‘Done’
After this, you will see the page where you can enter the amount you wish to send and if you wish to send money to just registered receiver, follow the process until the payment for the transfer is made.
Step 1: Choose the Receiver
1. Select the Receiver you want to send money to and Press‘Send’ next to that Receiver. If you do not have any saved Receiver, please, press on ‘Send to New Receiver’ to register a new Receiver (Please, check ‘How to register Receiver’s information?’ for details)
Step 2: Enter sending amount
1. Enter the amount you want to send (with GmoneyTrans app, you can also enter the receiving amount first to make sure that your loved ones get the exact amount they need.)
2. Then, you will be able to see details for the amount you are sending
3. If you have coupons, you can use one of them.(You can get free coupons by referring our service to your friends) (Please, check ‘Main > Menu > Coupon’ in GmoneyTrans app to learn more)
4. Press ‘Next’
Step 3: Entering sending purpose and source of fund
1. Select the Sending Purpose option
2. Select the Source of Fund option
3. Press ‘Confirm’
Step 4: Making payment
After providing the required information about the Receiver you will be directed to this ‘Select Payment Method’ page
1. Press ‘Direct Debit’
Step 5: Entering Transaction PIN code
If you have already registered your bank account with our app you should have a Transaction PIN code. If you haven’t registered a direct debit account please follow the steps to register your account.
1. Enter the Transaction PIN code if you have already registered your direct debit account
2. Press ‘Done’
Step 6: Transaction Control No.
Your transaction status will be displayed in the new page.
In case of cash pick-up the Receiver is required to provide Transaction Control No. (‘TCN’) in order to receive the funds.
Check the transaction status display screen and send the TCN code to your Receiver. The Receiver can go to a cash-pickup depot nearby and present identification card and the transaction control no and collect the funds.
If you forget your password for Facebook and Google, you will have to find your password with the respective account Facebook or Google. In case of email signup, you can request GmoneyTrans app to send you a link (URL) to change your password by pressing ‘Find ID / Password’ > ‘Find App Login Password’ in the login window.
The password should be at least 10 letter or longer and include one of each upper and lower case alphabets, a number and a special character. e.g. (Gmoneyplus2017!) ‘G’ is upper case alphabet, ‘moneyplus’ are lower case alphabets; ‘2017’ are numbers and ‘!’ is special character and the password is longer than 10 letter.
When you request a password change, we will send you a link to your registered email. Click on the link to change and verify the new password.
No. You can use our app in the new number by using your old registered ID to login. (Email, Facebook or Google)
